Paw Village's Evaluation Policy

At Paw Village, all our furry friends enjoy socializing in our open spaces. We require a  comprehensive Evaluation Day to ensure your pup will have a great time and mesh well with our pack. This is not only for them to get acquainted with our friendly staff but also to place them in the appropriate playgroup(s).

Age Consideration

At Paw Village, we have established a structured enrollment process to ensure the well-being and proper social development of our canine guests. Eligibility for our programs begins with puppies that are a minimum of 8 weeks old or have been in their current home for at least 2 weeks. For puppies under 16 weeks, enrollment in our Puppy Play Program is mandatory. Once puppies reach 16 weeks, they must undergo a soft Evaluation Day following graduation from Puppy Play Program, before they can transition to full daycare services. Puppies over 16 weeks are required to complete an Application form and a comprehensive Evaluation Day. Additionally, puppies under 9 months are designated Apprentice Status, a classification that ensures they are learning appropriate social skills, with a reassessment scheduled for a later date to confirm their progress.

On the Day of the Evaluation

Please bring your dog in early and plan to leave them with us for 4 to 5 hours. This helps ensure they settle in nicely and have a paw-some time!

Health and Safety First

Before the trial visit, we’ll need to verify your dog’s health records. Please review our Dog Health Policy and complete our New Dog Application. This will require you to set up your profile, add your pet(s) details, and provide options to submit your dog’s vaccination records.
