At Paw Village our cat health policy mandates up-to-date vaccinations, regular veterinary check-ups, and preventative care to ensure the well-being of our feline guests. We require documentation of vaccinations against common diseases and a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all cats in our care, we have established the following vaccination requirements:
Rabies Vaccination
Distemper (FVRCP)
Flea and tick prevention
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests, please note the following health requirements:
Contagious Ailments: Cats must be free from contagious conditions, including parvovirus, canine cough, and internal/external parasites (such as worms or fleas). If fleas are detected, an immediate flea bath will be administered at your expense.
Physical Capability: Cats should be physically capable of participating in boarding activities. Felines with hip, shoulder, joint issues, or chronic pain may not qualify for admission.
Symptoms of Illness: Cats showing symptoms of diarrhea or vomiting must undergo a veterinary examination and obtain clearance before attendance.
For a comfortable and healthy stay for your cat, please follow these arrival procedures:
Cat Carrier: Transport your cat in a secure and comfortable carrier to ensure their safety and well-being during arrival.
Personal Items: A small, familiar item from home, such as a blanket, can be brought for your cat's comfort. Please refrain from bringing sentimental or expensive belongings due to potential damage, and we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
Cat Food: Please bring your cat's usual food to maintain their dietary routine and avoid stomach upset. If you feed wet food, our staff will mix it with dry food at each mealtime.
